Majority of the images in this site are photographs and are scanned at high color resolutions. Therefore the best image quality can be obtained at True Color mode or at least 16 Million colors mode. Note that this performance can be achieved only if the visitor' s computer has sufficient video RAM. Even though today' s computers are more capable than that, in case of low color depth setting, the images will be shown at low quality. Display properties can be set from the system "Control Panel". The utilization of basic standard windows fonts is aimed for the design of this site, unless otherwise is essential. Nevertheless, some computers may not recognize the fonts, or may display the text too large or too small, or Turkish text may appear corrupted. Although, a special attention is paid to use Turkish accompanied by English explanations throughout the pages, Turkish is used as default language. Naming convention is set as English to avoid some compatibility problems. Turkish encoding is also used in appropriate pages. Some pages through the site are duplicated in two versions (i.e. Turkish and English). It is aimed to keep only one version of the pages, especially where text is minor and the content is clear even though Turkish is used. Both Microsoft Internet Explorer IE6.0 and Netscape Navigator 4.05 browsers are used to display the site. Both browsers complied with the fundamental requirements of the web site.
